Kenzie  has always had a passion for country music. As a young boy,  he remembers riding in the car with his Mom listening to the radio  singing every country song that was played. When he was in elementry school his Mom encouraged him to join the 5th grade chorus.  His career effectively started when he was a sophmore in high school, performing one of his favorite Gary Allen songs “Life Ain't Always Beautiful” at Uncle Mike's  a local Karaoke venue in his hometown. In 2016 as a high school senior he won the first Tampa Teen Idol competition. That same year Kenzie released “Just Once In Awhile” a song written by his MawMaw.  In 2018 he released his first studio album titled “Dover” after his hometown. Noteworthy singles from this album include “Stronger Than Whiskey,” “Got Her Goodbye On” and “Wild And Crazy." kenzie came in 2nd place on NBC'S “THE VOICE” season 20. The coaches gave him a 4 chair turn and a block during his blind audition when he performed a Keith Whitley song “Don't Close Your Eyes.” He is famous for his mullet haircut, business in the front party in the back. Blake even called him a “Unicorn.” He has opened for Michael Ray, Charlie Daniels, Craig Campbell, Luke Bryan and headlined The House of Blues,The Dallas Bull, Boom by the Bay, Grand Ole Opry 5000, Ole Red Tishomingo, Ole Red Orlando, Ole Red Nashville, The Florida Strawberry Festival and many other shows. In 2023 Kenzie released 3 new singles, “That Truck,” “Dear Country” and “Angel You Loved The Devil Out Of Me,” all recorded at Omni Studios in Nashville Tennessee. Kenzie is busy getting ready to release his 5th Studio single, a cover of “Strawberry Wine” made famous by Deana Carter. The new cover single will drop on March 1st 2024.
